Students explore permaculture and Aboriginal knowledge at Brewongle to discover sustainable and resilient approaches to future food production

Science

Environmental sustainability - Good fire, bad fire

Students explore how Aboriginal cool burning practices sustainably manage Country, promote biodiversity and reduce the risk of destructive bushfires.

Science - new syllabus program

Ecology - Monitor Measures

Students will investigate whether the lace monitor is under threat by conducting field research to assess its population health, behaviour, and habitat conditions within the local forest ecosystem.
