Inclusive learning support
Brewongle Environmental Education Centre is committed to delivering inclusive environmental education for all students, across both mainstream and specialised programs.
Inclusion is a core principle underpinning the centre’s culture, policies, and daily practices. Our approach ensures that every student has equitable access to learning opportunities that foster understanding of the environment, culture, and meaningful connections to Country.
In addition to practical supports such as ramps, bathroom hoist and an all-terrain wheelchair, we have developed a dedicated inclusive education website to help all students prepare for their visit to Brewongle Environmental Education Centre. The site provides detailed information about both camp and day visit experiences.
The inclusive education website includes:
· printable social stories
· soundscape tour of Brewongle
· photos and videos of our facilities and activities
· accessibility and wheelchair information
As a NSW public school, Brewongle EEC is well equipped to support students with disability and additional learning needs.
