Our facilities are designed to support accessibility, inclusion and student wellbeing, with features such as ramps, accessible toilets, flexible learning spaces and our dedicated quiet area, the Brewongle Rest Nest. These spaces help create a welcoming and supportive environment where students of all abilities can feel comfortable, included and ready to learn.

Brewongle Rest Nest

Our dedicated quiet space provides a calming environment for students who may need time away from group activities or sensory stimulation.

The Rest Nest includes sensory resources such as a fidget wall, calming visual features and quiet activities to support self-regulation and wellbeing.

Located on the deck at the rear of our historic 1878 classroom, the Brewongle Rest Nest provides a quiet, calming space where students can relax, regulate and recharge.

Explore more of Brewongle with our Hippocampe all-terrain wheelchair! With many of our paths featuring rocks, gravel and natural surfaces, this specialised wheelchair helps students and visitors with mobility needs access our outdoor learning environments and enjoy the beauty of Brewongle.

Toilet and shower facilities

We want everyone to feel comfortable and welcome at Brewongle! Our toilet and shower facilities include accessible amenities to help support the needs of all students, teachers and visitors during their stay.

Our boys’ and girls’ toilets are located up the stairs from the gravel driveway. Cleaned daily and lit overnight, you might even hear some friendly frogs and possums making themselves at home in the roof!

Our two eco-friendly composting toilets work just like regular toilets but use no water! They're cleaned daily and available for everyone to use, helping us care for the environment while saving precious water.
