Warrawi Yana Nura is an Aboriginal student leadership program for Stage 5 and 6 high school students.
Warrawi Yana Nura aims to provide a transformative moment to middle years and senior Aboriginal students and take them beyond the classroom to engage in purposeful and authentic learnscapes to:
Approximately 4 students per school can be involved. Students must be nominated by their schools to partake in the program. We will be accepting a total of 40 students. Please note that we anticipate high demand for this program, so please ensure your students are committed to attending!
We have set dates for Warrawi Yana Nura in 2024 and the camp program is ready to go!
Term 1 Week 11: 9th-11th April 2024.
This year the program will focus on many aspects of building cultural knowledge, cultural leadership and will include a visit to local important Aboriginal sites.
