Pre-requisite learning
MyPL course NR21149 “Unpacking the Syllabus” must be completed prior to enrolling in this workshop.
Course objectives
- gain a deeper understanding of the new Science and Technology K-6 syllabus
- develop skills and confidence to teach the Science and Technology K-6 syllabus in practical investigations that are creative and engaging ways through an inquiry-based model
- become equipped to share experiences and knowledge with school staff
- develop a relationship with Environment Zoo and Education Centres (EZEC) staff and colleagues to provide ongoing assistance and sharing of science and technology resources, with a focus on Working Scientifically, Living World and Digital Technology content strands.
