Stage 2 students will learn about local Dharug culture and will spend the day connecting to Country.
Students go on a bush resource hunt to learn about traditional Dharug uses of various plants and come back to teach their new found knowledge to their peers. They experience the use of ochre and traditional symbols for storytelling, participate in traditional Indigenous games, as well as watch a story come to life on canvas using coloured sands and traditional Aboriginal symbols.
Maximum 6 classes per day.

We sincerely acknowledge Aboriginal Elders past, present and emerging - the masters of sustainability. We thank the Elders and knowledge-holders who've shared with us, and those we work and connect with at Brewongle. We endeavour to continue to connect with Darug land and build her connection with our students.
